Vacancy Description:

Here is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-driven Asbestos Business Development Sales Manager to join a highly successful and growing asbestos and environmental company in the Midlands and will include applications from Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Birmingham, Coventry and the surrounding areas.


Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally, the applicant must come from a strong sales, business development, management, and technical background and at the same time must have a proven track record working within this role and within the asbestos industry, although working in other sectors would be beneficial.

Will have good formal education or any other qualifications would be beneficial.

Will be proficient in using the computer - Microsoft Office Package.

Will be fully conversant with the asbestos industry.

Will have good communication, people management, organizational, presentational and client-facing skills.


Purpose of the Role:

Developing new business leads and strategy for the company whilst still managing the existing accounts.


Key Role:

Getting involved with the sales and commercial and financial side of the business - promoting the company's asbestos consultancy services.

Pricing and tendering.

Developing and monitoring business forecasts and budgets.

Managing the sales activities of the company.

Maintaining and building a good rapport with new clients/customers by liaising and negotiating appropriately with regards winning new contracts.

Maintaining the company's systems - Database.

Attending and conducting meetings and discussing financial position of the business, etc.

Achieving target and goals.

Developing and training the sales staff.

Dealing with any queries with regards to sales, etc.

Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the company's Health & Safety procedures.

Developing plans for new clients and suppliers - contracts or services.

In general, the post-holder will be smart and astute and have the acumen to take the business to the next level.
