Vacancy Description:

Our client is a multi-disciplined organizational with a large presence across the UK. They provide services such like, Asbestos, Water Hygiene, Health & Safety, Training, properties, working on heights, etc.


They also provide audits and risk assessments on sites, buildings and working on roofs, using the ladder, built specially for purpose safety and other maintenance work. Complying with legal requirements with regards to work at heights procedures and regulations.


Due to consistent growth and strategic state of the business, this company is now seeking for a high brow, self-driven and commercially focused Health & Safety Business Development Manager to join their Health & Safety department based in the Midlands, although they would consider home based applicants from East/West Midlands area.


Purpose of the Role:

Developing and promoting their client base in areas designated by the client, predominately Midlands and London.


Ideally, they are seeking for a professional who comes from a solid construction, consultancy, Health & Safety, Technical and Management and Environmental and working at heights, sales, business development background.

Must have good formal education.

Must possess the NEBOSH General certificates - IOSH certificates - Health & Safety qualifications and at the same time must have substantial experience working within this role and within the industry involved.

Must have good interpersonal, communication, organizational, presentation, training, leadership, people management and IT skills.


Key Role Will Encompass:

Generating new business leads and opportunities for the company cross selling and promoting their products and Health & Safety consultancy services.

Sourcing and winning new commercial clients for the Working at Heights Team.

Delivering professional services, Health & Safety whilst still managing existing team.

Working within alongside within a team environment.

Achieving targets and goals.

Key Performance Indicators,

Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients/customers.

Requisites:
In general, the applicant will be enthusiastic, self-driven and astute and have the ability to manage, improve and perform well with regards to taking the company's new business to the next level.

In general, the successful candidate will be astute, have the ability to manage, improve and perform well with regards to Health & Safety procedures.

Must be flexible with regards to travelling as per clients' and business requirements.
