Vacancy Description:

This leading and fast growing asbestos company that provides numerous professional and high quality services to clients from all levels is presently seeking for an enthusiastic, astute and commercially focused Asbestos Contracts Manager in Northern Ireland and will include applications from the Republic of Ireland.


Ideally, the individual must come from a strong management, removal, contracts, technical and office background.

Must have good formal education.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must be fully conversant with the asbestos industry and the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Must have good inter-personal, organizational, presentational people management, leadership, client facing and communication skills.

Must have a proven track record working within this role and within the asbestos industry.


Key Responsibilities:

Predominately overseeing and operating in various sectors, including commercial, public and industrial sectors.

Managing and organizing labour force.

Managing and overseeing a team of asbestos removal contracts managers, supervisors and contractors.

Assessing potential contracts, estimating and completing risk assessments, etc.

Completing tenders and PPQ's.

Carrying out audits and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and company policy.

Preparing method statements necessary for the work completed - ASB5 notification.

Managing and organizing teams to complete contracts professionally, attending meetings and developing and maintaining a good rapport with the company's mixed portfolio of clients.

Making recommendations with regards to improvements in client services.

Producing monthly management reports using company procedures.

Ensuring that work is carried out effectively and within time line.

Ensuring that the team achieves the company's Health and Safety standards and procedures.
