Our client is an expanding asbestos consultancy providing a range of services to clients including bulk sampling, air sampling and testing and their clients include a wide portfolio of clients including commercial, industrial and large blue chip companies.

They are currently seeking for a tenacious and conscientious Asbestos Quality Checker/Verifier to work for them in South Wales and will include applications from Cardiff, Carephilly and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must hold the P402 or the equivalent - RSPH qualification and must have experience and knowledge of working within this role and within the asbestos industry that is site experience in surveying would be beneficial.

Must have previous administrative/office experience.

Must be proficient in using the computer - Microsoft Office Package.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality check all asbestos reports undertaken and ensure all the contents and technical aspects of information are in accordance to the Health & Safety guidance and company's procedures.

Make amendments to the information and liaise appropriately with the surveyors of any changes, amendments or discrepancies.

Ensure all the final documents sent to clients are accurate and of high standard and well presented.

Track surveys from site to delivery report and with time frame.

Report any issues or problems to the Manager and ensure all work is carried out according to the company's procedures.

Provide feedback with regards to surveyors on site, reports, auditing, training etc., to the Manager.

Carry out any other duties required by the company, such like administrative duties.

In general, the successful applicant will focused, competent and have the ability to carry out the work effectively.

Will have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
