Vacancy Description:

A self-motived and ambitious Asbestos Auditor is being sought by one of our well established and client based asbestos consultancy in South or South West and would include applications from south Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Hampshire and the surrounding areas.


Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally, the applicant will hold the P401, P402, P403 and P404 or the equivalent - RSPH qualifications or CCP.

Will come from a good educational, technical, auditing background.

Will be competent in using the computer - Microsoft Office Package.

Will have hand on working as an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst.

Must have varied and significant experience working within this role auditing and within the asbestos industry.


The Purpose of the Role:

Undertaking and providing asbestos removal auditing services to management and employees to assess the company performance, etc., maintaining Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Taking charge of all auditing processes - asbestos site audits across the company's designated work sites.

Representing the company's technical management team - all levels and providing professional and quality services to the clients and the public.

Providing reports and recommendations for improvements in accordance with the audit policy and meeting audit targets defined within the policy.

Working closely with the Technical Manager and ensuring that the company quality procedures are implemented effectively.

Raise awareness and understanding of safety and quality that is training, etc. and providing advice, support and guidance as and when required.

Maintaining site audits and demonstrating findings of audits and taking action.

Attending Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality meeting as and when required.

Liaising with the Technical Manager


Overall the successful applicant will be adaptable, flexible and have the ability to work effectively - motivate individuals and at the same time be aware of safety issues etc.

Will have good communication skills both written and verbal.
