Vacancy Description:

This busy and progressive water treatment company that provides a variety of services to clients from all levels is currently seeking the services o of a self-driven and commercially focused Water Treatment Sales/Accounts Manager in the Buckinghamshire area, will include applications from Berkshire, Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Candidates must come from a strong chemical, accounts, management, consultancy, sales, accounts background, and must have extensive and valid experience working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Must be fully versed with the ACOP L8 - have an in-depth understanding of the current legislation and basic understanding of the water systems and built up environments.

Will have good communication, people management, organisational, presentational and client-facing skills.

Will be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.


Key Responsibilities:

Selling and promoting the company's consultancy services whilst still managing the existing accounts.

Increasing customer base by maximising sales opportunities.

Hitting targets and achieving goals - profit margins.

Project Management.

Completing reports - method statements, risk assessments, etc.

Completing PQQs and tenders.

Attending sites and ensure work is carried out effectively by Legionella Risk Assessors and Water Treatment Engineers.

Getting involved with training and attending meetings as and when required.

Building a good rapport with clients from all levels.


In general, the successful post-holder will be smart, articulate, flexible, and have the acumen to manage the business effectively and at the same time take the business to the next step.
