Vacancy Description:

This medium sized and expanding company that specializes in the field of Legionella control, Water Hygiene and Air Hygiene disciplines and at the same time covers national contracts including public and private sectors is actively seeking for a good calibre Water Hygiene Engineer to cover various contracts in and around East Anglia and will include applications based in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and the surrounding areas.


Ideally, the applicant will come from a chemical background and will have varied and extensive experience working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Will be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry legislation - L8.

Will be proficient using the Microsoft Office and will have knowledge of water systems.

Will have good communication skills both written and verbal.

Will have good organizational and client facing skills.


Purpose of the Role:

Working and managing contracts within the areas designated by the client.


Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring the client's air and water systems and ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.

Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.

Carrying out temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analyzing water system.

Full planned preventative maintenance.

Building and maintaining good working relationship with clients.

Collating and providing service reports and maintaining the standards according to the regulations - Health and Safety.


Overall the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, hardworking, flexible and reliable, will have good work ethic and have the ability to work independently and under pressure and must be prepared to travel.
