Vacancy Description:

An established and expanding water treatment/hygiene company is currently seeking to employ a self-motivated, competent and articulate home based Water Treatment Sales Engineer in East Yorkshire/East Midlands.

Ideally the applicant will come from strong, technical, water, chemical, engineering, sales, management, water treatment, legionella, Health & Safety background.

Must of have knowledge of the water systems, including water plant etc.

Must have good organizational, presentational, communication and client facing skills.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office, etc.

Holding a Degree - Scientific or Chemical - would be beneficial.

Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety issues - Legionella/Water Hygiene/Water Treatment.

Ideally, the applicant will have valid and varied experience working with this role and with the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Key Role:

Selling the company's water treatment/water hygiene products and services, whilst still managing the existing accounts.

Generating new business leads.

Ensuring that the clients are supplied the right product and service.

Carrying out work on site - water analysis on different water systems.

Undertaking Legionella assessments - ACOP L8.

Developing professional services with regards to water treatment/water hygiene.

Meeting targets and goals.

Carrying out tests on samples and evaluating - using the Database - Microsoft Office Package.

Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients from all levels.

Producing reports and managing time effectively.

In general, the successful post holder will be versatile, flexible, have good work ethos and have the ability to carry out the work effectively and at the same time take the business to the next level.

Must be prepared to travel extensively within the areas designated by the client.
