Vacancy Description:

Our client is a renowned and expanding water treatment company and due to the current business requirement, they are now seeking for the services of a self-motivated, multi-skilled, versatile and competent Water Treatment Engineer based in the East of England, along the M25 and will include applications from Essex, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.


Purpose of the Role:

Covering numerous contracts designated by the client.


Ideally, the applicant will have City & Guilds qualification and having experience in legionella risk assessing, etc., would be a bonus

Must have significant demonstrable experience - working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Must be conversant with current guidelines and legislation.

Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry.


Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on hot and cold water systems, cooling towers, chemical dosing, etc.

Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analyzing water systems and interpreting the results at the same time.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required.

Completing paperwork for works undertaken appropriately - producing accurate reports.

Auditing.

Liaising with the company large portfolio of clients and dealing with issues effectively.


Overall, the successful candidate will be flexible, will have a good and positive attitude and at the same time must have the ability to work effectively and within time scale and travel extensively as and when required.
