Here is a fantastic opportunity for a high calibre, commercially focused and ambitious Water Treatment Accounts Manager to join one of the top players within the water treatment in the East/West Midlands and will include applications from Birmingham, Coventry, Wasall, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire.

The individual must come from solid chemical, technical, accounts, contracts, sales and management background and must have significant experience working within this role and within the water treatment industry.

Must have hands on experience in Cooling Towers, Closed System, Steam Boilers, Legionella Risk Assessing, etc.

Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene/legionella industry - ACOP - L8.

Must have good formal education.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have good client- facing, people management, leadership, organizational and presentation skills.


Purpose of the Role:

Managing and maintaining the company's diverse portfolio of existing and new accounts - predominately covering a vast area of the Midlands.

Scheduling workloads and inspection and ensuring that the staff - water treatment engineers meet the demands of the customers appropriately and at the same time comply with the L8 and water legislation.

Managing team/staff.

Preparing quotations.

Conducting chemical analysis on steam boilers and cooling towers, interpretation of results, maintenance and installation of chemical dosing systems.

Providing technical advice to the company's large and mixed portfolio of clients.

Visiting sites and dealing with any issues appropriately.

Tending to staff/team and ensuring work is carried out effectively and within time line.

Getting involved with the training and appraisals.

Liaising with clients on a regular basis - building a good rapport.
Preparing reports and attending meetings.

Managing the business well and taking it to the next step.
