Vacancy Description:

Our client is part of a large a large multi-disciplined organization and they provide various services which include water hygiene, water treatment, asbestos and other compliances across the UK.

Due to strategic and current state of the business, they are now seeking for an ambitious, commercially focused and good calibre Regional Legionella Accounts Manager in the Midlands and will include applications from Birmingham, Leicestershire, Nottingham, Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas. This role will entail covering a vast area including the Southern region.

Purpose of the Role:

Managing and growing the company's business rapidly.

Ideally, the applicant will come from solid water hygiene, legionella, compliance, accounts, project management, and operational, sales, business development, technical, chemical, asbestos and educational background.

Must be well versed with the water hygiene, legionella and other industries involved.

Must have good communication, client-facing, presentational, organizational, people management, commercial, and leadership skills.

Must have vast and varied experience working within this role and with the water hygiene/legionella industry.

Key Role:

Managing contracts appropriately and effectively.

Delivering various compliance services, monitoring, risk assessments, consultancy, technical, etc., - Legionella and Asbestos Risk Management on time.

Managing a large team - which will include surveyors, technicians, consultants and others and ensuring that they deliver compliance services per plan throughout the areas designated by the client.

Generating new business leads whilst still managing the company's mixed and large portfolio of accounts.

Producing reports with regards to performance by team.

Providing technical and consultancy services to clients as and when required.

Dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively

Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients and customers.

Delivering services to the highest standard - KPIs and meeting targets and goals.

Getting involved with the Health and Safety procedures and training staff.


The post-holder will be an all-rounder, versatile, flexible and confident and have the acumen and drive to run the business effectively and at the same time take the business a step further.

Must be prepared to travel extensively.
