Vacancy Description:

Due to business growth, our client is seeking a self-motivated Water Hygiene Manager based in the Midlands. This role entails national coverage, hence must be prepared to travel extensively across the UK.

Ideally, the applicant will come from a strong water treatment/water hygiene/legionella, consultancy, management, accounts and sales background.

Will have good educational, communication, organizational presentational, people and client facing skills

Will have a proven track record working within this role and with the water treatment/water hygiene/legionella industry.

Will be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the company's senior management and liaising with regards sales and marketing activities.

Managing the company's water treatment consultant and overseeing the work schedules.

Liaising with the administrative team with regards to resourcing and scheduling.

Carrying out risk assessments.

Supporting Account Managers, identifying new clients for water treatment services and developing business with the company's client base.

Dealing with various enquiries from clients - either directly or team or account managers.

Generating new business leads and opportunities - assisting the marketing/sales department.

Getting involved with quotations, pricing for clients and assisting in the preparation of various tenders.

Assisting in the growth of the business.

Looking into and developing new products and services that can be marketed to the water treatment client base.

Providing professional technical advice appertaining to testing and inspection services offered by the company or seeks advice from other experts.

Conducting and associating with regards to evaluation and validation - modification and development of new methods and seeking expert advice if required.

Managing and coordinating the water treatment consultancy services as per maintenance of ISO 90001 accreditation and the Quality Management Systems processes.

Managing the sub contracts of any risk assessments or water monitoring regiments.

Carrying out other adhoc duties as and when required.


Ideally, the post holder will be versatile, astute and have the ability to run the business effectively and take the business to the next step.
