Vacancy Description:

Due to continuous on-growth and current business requirement, this fast growing and diversified water treatment company with a large presence across the UK requires the services of an astute, high calibre, and commercially focused Water Treatment Sales Manager in Midlands and would include applications from West Midlands, East Midlands and the surrounding areas.

Ideally, they are looking for a professional who comes from strong chemical, technical, sales, accounts, business development background and must have significant experience working within this role and within water treatment/water hygiene parameter.

Must have good formal education and must be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.

Must have good organizational, presentational, client facing, people management and leadership skills.

Must be well versed with the water treatment industry, an extensive knowledge of Legionella Control - L8 compliance for water systems is required for this role. Knowledge of the chlorine dioxide, cooling systems and domestic systems would be advantageous.

Key Role:

Cross selling the company's various consultancy service to clients including commercial, industrial, retail and other markets and at the same time managing the accounts - creating new opportunities with regards to sales and business develop

Developing new strategies.

Supporting and liaising with clients/staff and managing contracts and sales performance.

Developing good rapport with clients/customers.

Preparing reports.

Attending meetings and doing presentations.

Getting involved with Key Performance Indicators and tenders.

Ensuring that targets and goals are achieved.


In general, the successful applicant will be versatile and ambitious and will have the ability to work persuasively and take the business to the top line and at the same time must be prepared to travel extensively and work under pressure.
