Vacancy Description:

A client based forward thinking water treatment company that provides various professional services to clients from all levels is currently seeking to employ an enthusiastic, self-driven and focused Water Treatment Sales/Accounts Manager in the North West and will include applications from Greater Manchester, Lancashire, West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. This role will entail predominately sales - and 30% accounts.

Ideally, they are looking for an individual who comes from a strong accounts, sales, technical, chemical, management and water treatment background. Ideally, will have a good work history that is managing accounts, including Pre-treatment - Reverse Osmosis, cooling systems and steam boilers and legionella, plant installation, etc.

Holding a degree in Chemistry would be beneficial.

Must have good communication, client-facing, presentational, organizational people management and IT skills.

Must have proven record working within this role and within the water treatment industry.

Must be well versed with the water treatment industry and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

On Aspect of Sales:

Meeting and excelling sales targets and quotations.

Promoting the company's water treatment services to a cross section of clients and creating a presence.

Getting involved with the KPIs and day to day plans and activities.

Meeting and achieving targets.

Maintaining and improving the system with regards to technology (sales)

Providing relevant information to the manager.

Ensuring that the company is well represented.

Using the Database effectively and contacting key clients in a professional way.

Preparing quotations to meet client's requirement and ensuring correct information is gathered/recorded when on site for the engineers to carry out the work effectively, appropriately and safely.

Liaising with Managers with regards to projects.

Improving knowledge appertaining to technologies incurred in sales.

Providing information to the sales team, including managers and others involved.

Will be innovative.

Supporting the sales team.

Ensuring all paper work with regards to contract is carried out effectively prior to projects being finalized.

Supporting technical staff and ensuring they meet the targets.

Following the company's procedures and policies at all times and ensuring clients receive professional services.

Attending meetings as and when required.

Managing and organizing accounts large scale water treatment accounts and providing technical advice to the company's large and mixed portfolio of clients for Pre-Treatment, Steam Boilers and Cooling Towers, Reverse Osmosis and Water treatment Plants (industrial)

Incorporating chemical analysis of water treatment processes and ensuring that the water treatment programmes are compliant with current guidelines.

Overseeing staff and ensuring they carry out work effectively and within time line.

Assisting and producing method statements and risk assessments and ensuing work is carried out according to the Health & Safety procedures.

Maintaining and servicing which would include:

Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, steam boilers and cooling towers, etc.

Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analyzing water systems and interpreting the results.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as required.

Keeping up and maintaining records - log maintenance.

Dealing with any issues effectively and within time scale.

Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients/customers.
