Vacancy Description:

This well established water treatment company that provides a diverse range of water treatment/water hygiene services to a mixed portfolio clients is currently seeking for a multi-skilled and committed Legionella Lead Risk Assessor in North/North West and will include applications from Greater Manchester, Lancashire or Yorkshire area.

Ideally, the individual will hold the City & Guilds or WMS certificate or any relevant qualification and must have the right level of legionella risk assessment experience that is carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 on Cooling Towers and Domestic systems.

Will come from a consultancy background

Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal and must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety legislation with regards to water services, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8 on Cooling Towers and Domestic systems.

Conducting Chemical Analysis on Cooling Towers and Steam Boilers

Compiling remedial actions and compiling schematic drawings and collating and producing accurate reports for clients and dealing with any problems and taking corrective action as and when required.

Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measure through quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.

Collating and producing reports.

Organizing and prioritizing work and liaising with other team members to ensure all work is carried effectively and within time scale.

Dealing with any issues effectively and ensuring all work is carried out within time frame.

Liaising with clients on a regular basis - building a good rapport with clients.

Overall, the successful applicant will be flexible, have a good attitude and have the ability to work independently and effectively and must be prepared to travel extensively as per requirement by the client.
