Vacancy Description:

Our client a well-established water treatment/water hygiene company that specialises in all water treatment disciplines is looking to recruit an experienced and competent home based Legionella Risk Assessor based in the Yorkshire/North East region. Applications from North Yorkshire, Durham and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally the post-holder must have attended the Risk Assessment course, City and Guilds or alternatively have had internal training courses.
Have previous legionella risk assessment experience in line with ACOP - L8 risk accreditation.
Possess good communication skills both written and verbal.
Be fully conversant with the Health & Safety legislation with regards to the water industry.
Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Role:

Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8 and providing feedback of work carried out.
Compiling schematic drawings, as well as final documents - preparing, producing and completing reports for clients.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measure through quotations.
Carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with water regulations and company procedures.
Liaising with client/site personnel to ensure any work complies with L8 guidelines.
Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
Carry out ventilation surveys, water risk assessments, temperature monitoring, service inspections and various other water related services where required.
Must be prepared to travel extensively.
Organising appropriate equipment for the works required and ensuring it is all in good working order.
Supporting other members of the surveying team if required.
Although the Compliance Risk Assessor is not the budget holder, they are responsible for ensuring that their job is completed within the agreed costs.
