Vacancy Description:

Our client is a highly successful water hygiene/water treatment company operating throughout the UK and at the same time providing various services such like legionella, water hygiene and water treatment to a large portfolio of clients.


Due to the rapid expansion of the business, they are currently seeking for a commercially focused and self-driven Water Treatment Accounts/Sales Manager to work for them in Central Scotland and would include applications from Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh.


The successful candidate must come from a strong educational, chemical, technical, commercial, sales, management background and must have demonstrable experience working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Must have good knowledge of the legionella control - L8 compliance - hot and cold water systems and cooling systems.


Purpose of the Role:

Managing the company's existing key accounts and selling their water treatment consultancy services.



Key Responsibilities:

Incorporating analysis of water treatment processes, ensuring that the water treatment programmes are compliant with current guidelines and fit for purpose.

Carrying out service visits and managing the work load and service schedules.

Managing staff and ensuring that they carry out the work effectively.

Dealing with issues and complaints appropriately.

Sourcing potential work through tenders and networking.

Bidding and winning work with new customers/clients - liaising with them.

Working with operational managers and supervisors.

Supporting in the management of changes, hence promoting or developing business to the highest level.

Meeting targets and goals.


Overall, the successful candidate will be astute, versatile, have excellent communication/networking/people management/client facing/organizational skills and have the drive to take the business to the next step.
