Vacancy Description:

Our client is a fast growing multi-disciplined organization specializing in water, asbestos and other disciplines and to current business needs, they are seeking for an ambitious, commercially focused, astute and self-driven Water Treatment Accounts/Contracts/Sales Manager in the South East and will include applications from London, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas.


The individual must come from strong solid chemical, technical, accounts, sales and management, contracts and supervisory background and must have proven track record working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene/legionella industry - ACOP - L8.

Must have good formal education and will have varied experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer - will have hands on and understanding of steam boilers and process water analysis, etc.

Must have good communication, organizational, presentational, people management, leadership and client-facing skills.


Key Role:

Managing and maintaining the company's diverse portfolio of existing and new accounts/contracts, including Blue Chip contracts and promoting their business.

Scheduling workloads and inspection and ensuring that the staff - water treatment engineers meet the demands of the customers appropriately and at the same time comply with the L8 and water legislation.

Managing team/staff and overseeing the requirements for labour as per operational needs.

Ensuring that the Water Treatment Engineers carry out the work effectively and at the same time meet the targets.

Planning and implementing training regimes.

Preparing quotations.

Conducting chemical analysis on steam boilers and cooling towers, interpretation of results, maintenance and installation of chemical dosing systems.

Providing technical advice to the company's large and mixed portfolio of clients.

Visiting sites and dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively.

Tending to staff/team and ensuring work is carried out effectively and within time line.

Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients/customers.

Preparing reports.

Cross-selling the company's consultancy services.

Liaising with the sales staff, meeting targets and goals and taking the business to the next step.
