Vacancy Description:

Our client is a diverse water treatment/water hygiene company providing a comprehensive range of water treatment services to a large and mixed portfolio of clients, satisfying the growing and changing demands for cost effectiveness and efficiency.


Due to acquiring new contracts, they are actively seeking for a competent, committed, reliable and focused Legionella Risk Assessor based in Surrey and will include applications from Hampshire, London, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.


Ideally, the applicant must hold the City & Guilds or WMS certificate or relevant qualification.

Must have the right level of legionella risk assessment expertise that is carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP - L8 risk accreditation within the water treatment/legionella industry.

Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety legislation with regards to water services, etc.

Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.


Key Tasks:

Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8.

Compiling schematic drawings, as well as final documents - preparing and producing reports for clients within specified time frame.

Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measure through quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.

Organizing and prioritizing work and liaising with other team members to ensure all work is carried within time scale.

Building and maintaining a good working rapport with clients/customers.

Visiting sites as per client's requirements.


Attributes:

The post-holder will be flexible, have good work ethic and have the ability to work independently and carry out the work effectively and within time frame.

Must be prepared to travel significantly.
