Vacancy Description:

Our client is a highly respected asbestos company with an outstanding reputation across the UK. This company is actively seeking to employ an committed and motivating Asbestos Consultant/Trainer based in and around the London area. The ideal applicant will come from a strong technical asbestos background and will be experienced in delivering and presenting training courses at various levels. Ideally applicants will also hold a CCP/Assessor or equivalent qualification. Applications from Ilford, Dartford, Harlow, Romford and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Holding the CCP/Assessor qualifications would be desirable.

Must come from a strong, technical, training, removals, auditing, Health & Safety and management background within the asbestos industry.

Must have good communication, presentational, organizational, people management and IT skills.

They would consider applicants from supervisory, contracts or quality management.

Must have good IT skills.

Must have significant experience working within this role and within the industries involved.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering and developing Asbestos Training courses - assessment according to the company's standards and procedures and also getting involved with the quality management system and audits.

Managing, training, developing and delivering asbestos related training to all levels of staff and clients from awareness level through to the Asbestos Consultancy courses.

Delivering Asbestos Training Courses.

Ensuring safety and welfare of people involved in the training courses.

Getting involved with the development and assessment training programmes, etc.

Supporting employers and employees.

Ensuring that the facilities have the right provision to deliver training courses.

Carrying out Audits.

Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed and at the same making improvements.

Overseeing and reviewing delegates with regards to performance and in line with the training programmes, etc.

Supporting training staff.

Ensuring that all Health and Safety environmental procedures are applied.


Overall you will be innovative, a good team player, flexible and have the ability to work effectively.

Will be fully conversant with the current asbestos legislation and regulations.
