Vacancy Description:

Our client is a well-established UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy with offices across the country, who provides various asbestos and environmental services to a mixed portfolio of clients, including high profile clients is actively seeking to recruit a smart, self-driven and commercially focused Asbestos Business Development Manager based in or around the Leeds area. Ideally, looking for an individual who has a proven track record working as an Asbestos Business Development Manager and who would have the ability to develop and grow new and existing clients through the selling of the company's asbestos services. They would consider applications from Rotherham, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Sheffield and the surrounding areas.


Qualifications & Experience:


Must come from a solid asbestos, sales, business development, accounts management, background.

Will have a proven track record working within an asbestos sales or business development this role, ideally within the asbestos industry, although working in other sectors would be beneficial.

Must have excellent, communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, people management, presentation and client facing skills.

Be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Will be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.


Key Responsibilities:

Developing new business leads and strategy and at the same time managing the company's portfolio of accounts both new and existing contracts.

Following up potential business leads.

Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients/customers.

Liaising with managers and staff - providing plans.

Attending meetings as and when required

Pricing and tendering.

Getting involved Key Performance Indicators.

Managing the sales activities of the company.
