Vacancy Description:

Due to business demand, this medium sized and expanding Legionella/Environmental Consultancy that provides various professional and quality services to clients across the UK is actively seeking to employ a smart, enthusiastic and self-driven Legionella Business Development Manager in the North East and will include applications from Durham, Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland and the surrounding areas.


The applicant must a come from a good educational, chemical, consultancy technical, management, accounts, sales, business development and office background.

Must be well versed with the legionella, Industrial Cleaning industries and legislations.

Must have good communication, organizational, people management, presentation, client-facing and IT skills.

Must have extensive experience working within this role and within the water treatment industry.


Key Role:

Selling the company's consultancy services across the UK - generating new business leads whilst still managing existing accounts.

Meeting and excelling sales targets and quotations.

Promoting the company's water hygiene and industrial cleaning services and products.

Getting involved with the KPIs and day to day plans and activities.

Liaising with Managers and staff with regards to projects and sales.

Providing information to the sales team, including managers and others and at the same time supporting them.

Improving knowledge with regards to technologies incurred in sales.

Managing a developing a team.

Key Performance Indicators.

Liaising with clients from all levels in a professional manner.

Supporting technical staff and ensuring they meet the targets.

Attending meetings as and when required.

Travelling to sites as per requirements.


Overall, the successful applicant will be commercially focused, astute and persuasive and have the acumen to take the business a step further.
