Vacancy Description:

This successful and fast growing water treatment company that provides an array of water treatment services to a mixed portfolio of clients currently requires the services of an enthusiastic , self-motivated Water Treatment Sales Consultant to work based in the North West and will include applications from Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and the surrounding areas.

Ideally, the applicant must come from a strong water treatment/water hygiene, chemical, technical, accounts, sales and water engineering background.

Must have hands on water treatment engineering.

Must have good formal education although holding a degree - chemistry would be beneficial.

Must have excellent organizational, presentational, leadership and client facing skills.

Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry - Health & Safety.

Must have a proven track record working within this role - sales and service and within the water treatment industry.

Ideally will have specific experience of implementing, managing and monitoring water treatment programmes for commercial and industrial water systems, in particular cooling tower, steam raising and closed water systems.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality technical/chemical support and on-site service delivery to the existing and rapidly expanding client base and win and develop new business leads for the company.

Meeting targets and goals.

Managing workload effectively - visiting sites as and when required.

Conducting the routine sampling and analysis of water samples, interpretation and reporting of results and advising corrective actions and maintenance and installation of chemical dosing systems, etc.

Building and maintaining good working relationship with clients.


Overall the successful applicant will be versatile, flexible, commercially focused and have the ability to carry out the work effectively and at the same time and take the business to the next level.
