A forward thinking and well established water treatment/water hygiene company that provides expertise in the areas of legionella, water treatment, legionella and other services is actively seeking the services of a high calibre, astute and commercially focused Water Treatment Accounts Manager based in Wiltshire and will include applications from the South West, including Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Dorset and the surrounding areas.

The individual must come from strong, solid chemical, technical, accounts, contracts and management background and must have proven track record working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene/legionella industry - ACOP - L8.

Must have good formal education and have hands on experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer - understanding of cooling towers steam boilers and process water analysis, test kits, etc.

Must have excellent communication, organizational, presentational, people management, leadership and client-facing skills.

Having experience managing clients would be beneficial.

Must have experience in management of cooling towers.

Key Role Will Encompass:

Managing and maintaining the company's diverse portfolio of existing and new accounts - predominately covering areas designated by the client.

Scheduling workloads and inspection and ensuring that the staff - water treatment engineers meet the demands of the customers appropriately and at the same time comply with the L8 and water legislation.

Managing team/staff.

Preparing quotations.

Conducting chemical analysis on steam boilers and cooling towers, interpretation of results and maintenance and installation of chemical dosing systems.

Providing technical advice to the company's large and mixed portfolio of clients.

Visiting sites and dealing with any issues appropriately.

Tending to staff/team and ensuring work is carried out effectively and within time line.

Getting involved with training of staff.

Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients/customers.

Preparing and checking site reports.

Issuing certificates to clients.

Scheduling and allocating work to Engineers and Technicians.

Getting involved with training.

Managing the business well and taking it to the next step.
