Job Description
Our client is an expanding asbestos company, providing various services to a mixed portfolio of clients. Due to expansion in work load and business requirement, they are now seeking for an organised and committed Asbestos Administrator based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal applicant will ideally come from a strong asbestos background with experience undertaking administrative tasks such as scheduling site staff and processing paperwork. Consideration will be given to applications from Solihull, Coventry, Walsall, West Bromwich and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
Ideally, the applicant will have good formal education and will have significant experience working within this role – administrative/office experience and within the asbestos industry.
Must be highly organized, have the ability to multi-task, and carry out general administrative duties.
Proficient IT skills – including Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Ability to communicate with clients and colleagues of all professional levels.
Duties within the role:
Assisting the Manager with the day to day duties.
Assisting and managing projects.
Allocating work – staff – surveyors.
Entering data and analyzing and checking asbestos reports.
Completing and uploading reports – using the Database.
Liaising with clients or customers – dealing with queries – sending certificates to clients.
Dealing with internal and external databases and offering technical help to customers and staff.
Carrying any other administrative duties as and when required.
Booking staff – Asbestos Analysts.
Taking down consignment notes – dealing with quotes and other issues.
Dealing with any issue effectively and promptly.

In general, the successful applicant will be of smart disposition, flexible, have good work ethos and have the ability to manage workload effectively.
