Our client is a well-respected within the asbestos industry, delivering a wide range of asbestos surveying and analytical duties to clients across the UK. They are currently recruiting for an organised and dedicated Asbestos Administrator based in or around the Leeds area. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the asbestos industry and will be confident working closely with the lab; booking in samples, and scheduling asbestos site staff and asbestos removals/works. In return the company can offer the right candidate on-going training and excellent progression. Applications will be considered from Huddersfield, Keighley, Harrogate, Wakefield and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Holding the P402 would be beneficial but not essential.
Previous experience working within the asbestos analytical industry.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Previous administration experience within the asbestos industry beneficial.
Experience of TEAMS/TRACKER software.
Experience of office management would be advantageous.
Accurate data entry skills.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Booking in samples to the lab.
Scheduling of asbestos site staff – surveys, removals, training.
Liaise with clients/customers.
Management and training of office staff.
Type up, check and analyse asbestos reports.
Sending certificates to clients.
Carry out all administrative tasks, booking appointments, filing time sheets etc.
Dealing with internal and external databases and offering technical help to customers and staff.
