Our client is a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy providing professional asbestos and environmental services to clients across the UK. This company is now looking for an experienced, dedicated and hardworking Asbestos Administrator/Scheduler based in and around the Leeds area. The successful postholder will come from a strong administrative background and will ideally have a proven track record working within the asbestos industry carrying out duties including scheduling site staff and works and processing paperwork. Consideration will be given to applications from Bradford, Dewsbury, Harrogate, Tadcaster and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
Will come from an Asbestos Administration background.
Strong IT skills.
Proficient in using the Microsoft office package.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ability to work under pressure and to agreed deadlines.
Key responsibilities of the role:
Assisting the Manager with day to day duties.
Managing projects with regards to asbestos works.
Allocation and booking in of work for the Asbestos Surveyors/Analysts.
Entering data, analysing, checking and uploading reports.
Liaising with clients and dealing with any issues appropriately.
Dealing with invoices, timesheets and all other associated paperwork.
Carrying out any other admin duties as required.
Overall, the ideal postholder will approach their work with an adaptable and proactive attitude, and will demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of an established team.
