Job Description
Due to expanding workload, this leading asbestos consultancy that provides a variety of asbestos and environmental services to a portfolio of clients nationwide is currently looking for a self-driven Asbestos Bid Manager in Midlands area.
Ideally, they are looking for a smart professional who has is degree educated, and has the right qualifications and proven experience delivering and winning consultancy services within the asbestos market – ideally comes from a background of bid management/sales/commercial – identifying and delivering projects, hence will have good knowledge of the commercial sector and have risk management skills.
The Purpose of the Role:
Identifying asbestos consultancy – opportunities within the private and public sectors and at the same time preparing and winning bids and taking responsibility of the bid process – end to end.
Responsibilities:
Managing the Bid qualification process.
Managing the bid inputs i.e. from stakeholders – sales, marketing, finance, technical teams, legal etc.
Preparing and reviewing the technical side of the bid and ensuring that the quality side – submission is accurate and presentable and market leading.
Working with regional office – ensuring that the client information is maintained and liaising and ensuring tenders are submitted accurately.
Working and with the Sales and Managing Directors and making sure that the technical and commercial aspects of the tenders are completed with time frame.
Completing the written proposals – preparing management summary.
Delivering compliant and commercial sound bids – understanding and resolving various business issues – technical, etc.
Arranging post bid reviews and feedback with clients/customers.
Delivering continual improvement with regards to tender documentation.
Maintaining and building good relationship with the Marketing Manager and the company’s prestigious portfolio of clients.
Overall, the successful candidate will be managing multiple projects simultaneously and at the same time ensuring that all information is consistent and up to date.
In general, you will have good business acumen, strong communication/organizational/people management /IT skills and have the ability to work under pressure and take the business to the next level.
