Job Description
Due to an expanding workload, this fast paced asbestos company with a large presence nationwide is now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Asbestos Bid Manager to join their busy team in the Slough area. Applications from Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience:
Ideally, the applicant must come from a strong educational background.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Must have significant experience in bid writing within the asbestos industry.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Good attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining registrations with appropriate authorities/bodies to ensure receipt of relevant EOIs, PQQs and Tender notifications.
Full management of the bid process.
Liaising with the company’s teams to assess any new opportunities.
Completing the required documentation (with input from various departments) and ensuring submission within the required time frame.
Maintaining an effective archive/filing structure for past submissions, etc.
Monitoring and evaluating the success rates and conversions.
