Our client is offering an excellent opportunity to join their highly successful asbestos company delivering asbestos services to a large nationwide client base. This company is recruiting for a driven and knowledgeable Asbestos Consultant /Manager based in the Colchester area. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience working within an asbestos management role and the CoCA qualification. However, consideration will be given to strong asbestos with a good technical knowledge and the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates. Applications from Norwich, Ipswich, Peterborough and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must hold a minimum of the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates or the RSPH equivalent and will ideally hold the CoCa qualification.
Have experience working in this role within the asbestos industry (e.g. project management, surveying).
Good Working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide variety of properties.
Write and review technical and survey reports effectively.
Planning abatement and survey works in accordance with current legislation.
Manage and supervise Surveyors/Analysts/contractors and office staff.
Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to in relation to asbestos.
Liaise with the company’s clients and dealing with any issues appropriately.
