Job Description

Our established client is an asbestos company with a national presence. They are currently recruiting an experienced and commercially minded Asbestos Contracts Manager based in and around London. The ideal applicant will be experienced in overseeing a range of asbestos contracts, both maintaining existing client contracts as well as developing new contract leads as well as management of site staff. Applications from Watford, Enfield, Edgware, Ilford and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Ideally, the applicant must come from a good educational, technical, removals, supervisory, contracts and management background.
Previous experience in this role within the asbestos industry.
Good working knowledge of asbestos Health and Safety legislations/procedures.
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Role:

Overseeing work carried out by contractors to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the correct Health & Safety procedures.
Completing risk assessments, method statements, writing tenders, PPQs, specifications, appraisals and ASB5 notifications.
Achieving KPI’s.
Assessing potential contracts.
The organisation of staff to achieve completion of contracts effectively.
Making recommendations for improving client service and delivery.
Collating and producing management reports in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
Getting involved with Health & Safety training/issues.
Dealing with incoming sales enquiries.
Liaising with the company’s new and existing clients in a professional manner.
Generating new business leads.
