Due to this expansion they now need to recruit an experienced and confident Asbestos Contracts Manager to work for them in and around the London area. The ideal candidate will hold a strong technical knowledge of asbestos services and will have a successful track record of contract managing asbestos removal sites. Applications from Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Surrey, and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & experience:
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical, management and removals background with a portfolio of housing and commercial clients/
Experience with working in a contracts management role within the asbestos industry.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Good working knowledge of asbestos health and safety legislation/procedures.
Competent with Microsoft office package.
Organisation of site staff and allocation of work.
Gaining relevant accreditations for the business.
Producing estimates for potential contracts.
Completing risk assessments, method statements, writing tenders, specifications, appraisals and ASB5 notifications.
Ensuring that all work/contracts are completed in a professional manner.
Maintaining a professional working relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
Managing all new and existing accounts.
Submitting comprehensive reports.
