Job Description

Our client is a high-profile asbestos removal company with a growing client base, who supplies a wide range of asbestos services to clients. They currently require the services of an enthusiastic, high calibre and commercially focused Asbestos Contracts Manager based in or around the London area. The success candidate will have a proven track record of working as an contracts manager within an asbestos company and will be well-rehearsed in completing risk assessments, method statements, writing tenders. The company are looking for somebody proactive and who is able to develop a portfolio of works. Applications from Dartford, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Romford, and the surrounding areas will be considered.


The applicant will come from a good educational and asbestos management background.

Will ideally hold the relevant qualifications / certificates in Licenced Asbestos Removal for contracts managers.

Will hold a strong technical knowledge of the asbestos removals industry.

Have a proven track record working within an asbestos contract managers role.

Must have in-depth knowledge of the Health and Safety procedures and legislation pertaining to asbestos.

Hold excellent organisational and people management skills.

Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:


Producing quotes for clients.

Overseeing and managing various contracts as per client’s requirement.

Providing management duties on both medium and large scaled contracts.

Overseeing work carried out by asbestos removal teams, including asbestos supervisors and asbestos operators and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the asbestos Health & Safety procedures.

Organising and running labour.

Completing risk assessments, Method Statements, Tenders, Writing Specifications and appraisals.

Completing ASB5 notifications.

Meeting Key Performance Indicators.

Assessing potential contracts and providing estimates.

Making recommendations to improve client services and delivery.

Collating the information and producing monthly management reports using company procedures and guidelines.

Dealing with incoming sales enquiries, etc.

Building and maintaining a good working rapport with existing and new clients.
