Job Description

Due to the acquisition of several new contracts this well-established asbestos company with a large presence nationwide is now hoping to recruit a reliable and experienced Asbestos Contracts Manager in and around the Somerset Area. Undertaking duties such as, Assesing and estimating potential contracts, Producing monthlt management reports to company procedure and managing new and existing accounts. Applications from Bath, Dorset, Bristol, and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

The applicant will come from a strong technical, management, removals and educational background.
Previous experience working in this role in the asbestos industry.
Will have a good working knowledge of the asbestos Health and Safety procedures/legislation.
Good communications skills both written and verbal is essential.

Role:

Carrying out management duties on a variety of contracts.
Organisation of staff to complete contracts in a professional manner.
Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant Health & Safety procedures.
Completing risk assessments and method statements, writing tenders, specifications, appraisals and ASB5 notifications.
Assessing and estimating potential contracts.
Produce monthly management reports following company procedures.
Managing new and existing accounts.
Building and maintaining a professional working relationship with clients.
