Our client is offering a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced Asbestos Health & Safety Consultant to join a well-established and successful asbestos company in the Bath region. Applications from South Glouceste, Bristol, Cardiff and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Experience & qualifications:

The post-holder will must come from strong asbestos, technical, management and removal, office and contracts background and at the same time must have significant and varied experience working with this role and within the asbestos industry.
A good working knowledge of the asbestos industry.
Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Key Role:

Implement systems to ensure Health & Safety policies and procedures adhered to
Review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (Plans of Work) and other documentation developed for the purpose of delivering site works.
Health & Safety reviews, inspections and audits.
Assessing potential contracts and estimating.
Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients on a regular basis.
Delivering good services and at the same time making recommendations for improvement.
Producing comprehensive reports and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Ensuring that the work is completed within time scale.
Provision and reporting on Health & Safety policies and practices.
Management of site compliance auditing.
Overseeing the audits of plans of work or method statements for divisions.
Maintaining effective templates and procedures for the planning of site work.
To Assess fire safety in all relevant work places.
Maintain a KPI score sheet.
Assist with CDM principal contractor procedures and duties.
Attend sites to audit and inspect for Health & Safety and compliance issues.
Assist in maintaining and developing company documentation.

Extensive travel will be involved with this position so a full clean driving licence is essential.
