Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst.
Location: Croydon, South East.
Salary / Benefits £19k – £28k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Asbestos Lab Analyst through to Asbestos Lab Manager.

Our client is a long-standing Asbestos Consultancy, who pride themselves in running a customer-friendly service. Now seeking an Asbestos Lab Analyst to work from their South East Laboratory and join their professional team in ensuring all laboratory work carried out complies with UKAS standards. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for details and experience working within an accredited asbestos lab.

Consideration will be given to candidate from: Orpington, Bromley, Swanley, Sidcup, Dartford, Bexleyheath, Erith, Sevenoaks, Gravesend.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working within an asbestos laboratory setting.
” BOHS P401 qualification.
” Keen eye for detail and able to organise workload efficiently.
” Will have knowledge of HSG guidelines surrounding asbestos.
” Excellent customer service skills.

Working within an established Asbestos laboratory, carrying out:
” Logging, storing, and preparing samples for analysis upon arrival to the laboratory.
” Undertaking bulk sampling analysis on asbestos samples.
” Maintaining, cleaning and calibrating Laboratory equipment.
” Ensuring all work is carried out in line with HSG Guidelines.
” Using internal systems to input analysis data.
” Completing job sheets upon completion of sample analysis.
” Liaising with clients in a professional manner, providing advice and support.
” Ensuring samples are completed within agreed timeframes.
” Carrying out safe working practices, keeping the laboratory tidy.
