Job Description

Our client is a well-established UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy with a large presence across the UK and due to current state of the business, they are actively seeking a tenacious, competent and committed Asbestos Lab Analyst based in and around the Basildon area and will include applications from Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The individual must have attained the P401 certificate and at the same time must have a proven track record working within this role, in a laboratory environment and within the asbestos industry.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Purpose of the Role:

To analyze and report on the fibre content of both of samples submitted by clients.

Role Will Entail

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.

Preparing samples for analysis.

Carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.

Reporting analytical findings.

Completing analysis test sheets as and when required.

Getting involved with other laboratory and adhoc duties.

In general, you will be flexible, will have good attention to detail, have the ability to organize workload effectively appropriately and work independently and as part of a team.
