Our client is an independent and growing asbestos company. Due to expansion in workload and business requirement, they are actively seeking to appoint a good calibre Asbestos Lab Analyst in and around the Basildon area, and will include applications from Wickford, Fobbing, Billericay, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must possess the P401 certificate and at the same time must have a proven track record working within this role and within a laboratory environment and within the asbestos industry.

Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Specific Aspects of the Role:

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory, preparing samples for analysis, carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content and reporting analytical findings.

Completing analysis test sheets accurately as and when required and ensuring every effort is made to complete workload within required time frame.

Getting involved with other laboratory duties and other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
