Job Description

Our client, a UKAS accredited and client based asbestos consultancy currently seeks the services of a motivated and hardworking Asbestos Lab Analyst based in and around the Coventry area. The ideal candidate will come from a strong laboratory background with experience undertaking bulk analysis on asbestos samples. The ideal candidate will also hold the P401 certificate. Applications from Tamworth, Rugby, Solihull, Nuneaton and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must have attained the P401 qualification and at the same time must have varied, valid and significant experience working in a laboratory (UKAS accredited) and within the asbestos sector
Must come from a good educational background, have good communication skills both written and verbal and at the same time must be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.
Preparing samples for analysis and carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.
Completing analysis test sheets as and when required and ensuring every effort to complete workload within required time line.
Delivering accurate results to clients/customers.
Getting involved with other ad hoc duties as and when required by the client.
