Job Description

This well established asbestos/environmental consultancy which offers a comprehensive range of professional services to clients nationwide is currently undergoing rapid expansion and is currently seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Asbestos Lab Analyst to work in their laboratory/office in and around Durham area. Under taking daily tasks such as completing analysis test sheets, preparing and carrying out analysis samples for fibre content and other laboratory duties required. Applications from Sunderland, Peterlee and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Must hold the P401 asbestos qualification.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Previous experience within a laboratory and asbestos environment is essential.
Good attention to detail.
Competent with Microsoft office package.

Role:

Receive and appropriately log in samples received by the laboratory.
Prepare and carry out analysis of samples for fibre content.
Complete analysis test sheets.
Any other laboratory duties.
