Job Description

Our client is a well-established national asbestos consultancy, who provides a variety of asbestos services to clients throughout the UK. Due to continuing success they are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy laboratory/office in and around the Glasgow area. Applications from East Kilbride, Hamilton, Coatbridge will be considered.

Qualifications and experience:

Must possess the P401 asbestos certificate.
Experience working in a laboratory environment within the asbestos industry essential.
Excellent communication skills.
Good attention to detail.
Competent in using Microsoft Office package.

Role:

Booking in samples received into the laboratory.
Preparing the samples received for analysis.
Carry out analysis of bulk samples to determine the asbestos content.
Producing certificates of analysis.
Getting involved with any other laboratory duties as required.
