Job Description

This well-established and rapidly expanding asbestos consultancy with a large presence nationwide is now looking for an experienced Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy laboratory/office in the Glasgow area. Ideal Candidate would have experience within the asbestos lab industry Preparing samples to be analysed, correctly logging the samples and carrying out the analysis of samples. Applications from Glasgow and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must possess the P401 qualification.
Experience working in a laboratory/office environment within the asbestos sector.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient with the Microsoft office package.
Good attention to detail.

Role:
Appropriately logging samples received into the laboratory.
Preparation of samples for analysis.
Undertake analysis of samples for fibre content and reporting on findings.
Completing analysis test sheets.
Assist with any other laboratory duties as required.
