Job Description

Due to a rapidly expanding workload this well-established asbestos company is now urgently seeking to employ an enthusiastic and experienced Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy laboratory in the Greater Manchester area. Undertaking daily duties such as, Producing asbestos reports, Lab Duties and preparing samples for analysis. Applications from Oldham, Stockport, Wigan, Bolton, and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must hold the P401 certificate.
Experience of working in this role within an asbestos laboratory environment.
Good attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Competent with Microsoft office package.

Role:

Booking in samples received from site.
Preparing samples for analysis.
Undertake analysis and record findings.
Producing asbestos reports and typing certificates related to the asbestos analysis.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis with regards to any queries and results.
Any other laboratory duties as required.
