Job Description

Our client is a rapidly expanding asbestos consultancy known for delivering a range of specialist asbestos services to a nationwide client base. They are currently looking for an Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy team based in and around the Leeds area. The ideal candidate will hold the P401 certificate and will be have extensive experience carrying out asbestos bulk analysis. Candidates will be considered from Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Wetherby and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

Candidates must have gained the P401 asbestos certificate.
Experience of working in a laboratory environment within the asbestos field.
Excellent communication skills.
Good attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Responsibilities:

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.
Preparing samples and carrying out analysis of the samples for fibre content.
Reporting analytical findings.
Completing analysis test sheets.
Any other laboratory duties as required.

In general, you will have the ability to organise workload effectively and work independently as well as part of a team.
