Job Description

Our client is a successful UKAS accredited and client based asbestos consultancy in the South and due to current business requirement, they are actively seeking for a tenacious, focused and committed Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy office/laboratory in and around the Norfolk area. Undertaking daily tasks such as logging samples appropriately once received in the lab, prepare samples ready for analysis and completing reports and certificates. and will include applications from Kings Lynn, Norwich, Wisbech and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must possess the P401 certificate and at the same time must have significant experience working within this role, in a laboratory environment.

Must have excellent communication, both written and verbal.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Principal Role:

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.

Preparing samples for analysis and carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.

Completing record forms and typing certificates of analysis as and when required and ensuring workload is complete within the time scale.

Getting involved with other laboratory and other ad-hoc duties.
