Our client is a well-established asbestos company, that over-sees various contracts for high profile clients across the country. They are currently seeking for a tenacious, flexible and committed Asbestos Lab Analyst in Essex and will consider applications from Chelmsford, Romford, Ilford and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
Holding the P401 qualification is essential.
Must have a proven track record working in a laboratory and office environment within the asbestos industry.
Will have good formal education and will be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.
Will have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.
Preparing samples for analysis and carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.
Completing analysis test sheets as and when required and ensuring every effort to complete workload within required time frame.
Other duties will encompass organising, multitasking and carrying out administrative duties.
Analysing and checking asbestos reports.
Completing and uploading reports as and when required.
Liaising and assisting clients with regards to enquiries.
Getting involved with other general administrative duties.
Ideally, the applicant must be focused, versatile and methodical and have good attention to detail and work as part of a team and without supervision.
