Job Description

Our client is a well-established asbestos company with a good reputation and due to continued success are now looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their office/laboratory in the South Central area. Applications will be considered from Reading, Guilford, Slough and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

Applicants must hold the P401 asbestos certificate.
Previous experience of working in a lab role within the asbestos industry.
Good attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Role:

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.
Preparing samples and carrying out analysis for fibre content.
Completing record forms and typing certificates of analysis.
Complying with Asbestos Quality Control Procedures.
Any other general laboratory duties as required.
