Job Description

Our client is a rapidly expanding asbestos company and they are now looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy Laboratory/offices in and around the South Wales area. In this role you will undertake daily duties including booking in samples received from the site, carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content and reporting your findings and producing certificates of analysis. Applications will be considered from Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Minimum requirements:

Must possess the P401 asbestos certificate.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience working in an asbestos laboratory environment.
Good attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Role:

Booking in of samples received from site.
Preparation of samples for analysis.
Carry out analysis of samples for fibre content and report on findings.
Produce certificates of analysis.
Assisting with any other laboratory duties as required.
