Job Description

Our client is a well-established asbestos consultancy offering a wide range of professional advice and technical support services. Due to current business requirements, they are now looking to recruit a competent Asbestos Lab Analyst in the Taunton region. Applications from Bristol, Bath, Trowbridge, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must have attained the P401 qualification.
Previous experience working in a laboratory environment within the asbestos industry.
Good attention to detail.
Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Will be IT literate.

Main Responsibilities:

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.
Preparing samples for analysis.
Carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.
Completing forms and typing certificates of analysis.
Getting involved with any other laboratory duties as required.
