Job Description

Due to recent, rapid expansion our client, a well-established name in the asbestos industry is now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hard-working Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy workforce in their office/laboratory in the North West region. Applications from Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Minimum requirements for this role:

Must possess the P401 asbestos certificate.
Have previous experience working in an asbestos laboratory environment.
The ability to organise workload effectively.
Good attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
IT Literate.

Key role and responsibilities:

Receiving and appropriately logging asbestos samples received by the laboratory and preparing samples for analysis,
Carrying out bulk analysis of samples received for fibre content and entering data into the company’s computer system.
Complying with the company’s quality and health & safety requirements.
Producing certificates of analysis in accordance with the company’s procedures and guidelines.
Any other laboratory duties which may be required.
